Hello, everyone!
I’m so happy it is officially the weekend. After being sick last week and having a full week of work this week, I’m definitely glad for the break. Here’s what’s been going on in my life lately:
Work
My boss has been gone for the past two weeks, so work has been pretty relaxed. Today, we even got told by the interim head of department that we could leave early! I was so excited to leave at 5 for the first (and probably the last) time ever! Plus, I had finished all my work that morning, so I didn’t have anything to do anyways.
I finally started an Instagram for my travels. I felt guilty making all my friends relive my travels with me so now I get to share pictures with a community that enjoys them :) Follow me!
Online shopping
I hate shopping for things in person, but ever since I’ve learnt my size at Banana Republic and Gap, I’ve really enjoyed shopping for work clothes online. Only when there are sales though. I’ve got some great pieces for really good prices that I can see staying in my wardrobe for years.
Wanderlust
Lately, I’ve been looking at flights to England, Quebec, and Germany. I miss seeing new places SO much that I really want to just pick up and leave. However, I still have three months of work left and almost no money to spend on anything but necessities. I have started looking at grad school programmes abroad though, so maybe later on this autumn I can make more plans for travel :)
HEAT
It is too hot in NYC. Basically like Tampa right now, which I am not a fan of. I am looking forward to autumn more than ever and I hope it comes soon.
