Life Well Wandered encourages people to see the world and travel more deeply, respectfully, and mindfully. It also provides a platform for those who can’t travel to do so virtually through detailed travelogues and in-depth information on destinations in Europe and the United States (for now).
Unlike some other travel blogs, Life Well Wandered uses extensive research to add both practical and interesting information that goes beyond the surface of a place. Articles center around travel, history, itineraries, cultural travel, and mental health.

About the woman behind the blog:
Life Well Wandered started back in 2014 as a way for me to document my first-time travels in Europe.
Travel has impacted my life in ways I have trouble describing. As an anxious person eager to see the world, I want to show you that travel is possible – whether you travel all the time, have never left your hometown, have a mental illness, or just want to learn more about the world around you.
I believe in mindful travel—a style of travel that focuses on being in the moment, seeking out local places, and truly getting an insider’s look of a location.
I also believe in being open about my mental health, the struggles I’ve gone through, and how travel has saved me.
