Former Surgeon General: I’m Worried About America’s Stress

I love that more people with influence are talking about mental health more and more. I loved every point of this article. It’s a super quick read that I hope you will like!

Here’s What The Solar Eclipse Looked Like From Delta’s Flight Of A Lifetime

Did you watch the solar eclipse?! I did—my coworkers and I were planning on going to Bryant Park to watch but we stepped outside our office and there it was! It’s absolutely crazy how obsessed America was with the eclipse. I saw one in Brussels a few years ago, and it was no big deal there. However, I would’ve like to see the eclipse from this plane. Just wow!

The Rise of the Valkyries

A really interesting read on the role of women in today’s alt-right movement and historical far right and Nazi parties.

‘It’s a Slow Death’: The World’s Worst Humanitarian Crisis

WHY aren’t people talking about Yemen?! It’s utterly heartbreaking what’s happening there. “The United Nations says that Yemen needs $2.3 billion in humanitarian aid this year, but that only 41 percent of that amount has been received.”

Even if it’s not an obsession with one single person or product, it’s obsession with double-tapping, perfection, curating a perfect life, refreshing feeds. That’s why I’ve taken such a big step back from Instagram lately.

Beware the Women of ISIS: There Are Many, and They May Be More Dangerous Than the Men

A must-read article on the role and recruitment of women in ISIS. I think we often forget the role women play in such organizations and it is important to remember that they exist and can be a very powerful or influential section of such organizations.
